Shining, a terrifyingly enjoyable immersive piece inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s classic horror film The Shining. Devised with third year acting students and directed by David Glass.

Regularly appearing in lists of the most well loved films around the world, Stanley Kubrick’s film ‘The Shining’ is a master work in horror. Centring as it does on madness and the family and set in the isolated Overlook Hotel, International Theatre maker David Glass returns to Bath Spa University – after the visually stunning Bleak House last September – to present the second iteration of Shining. A powerfully thrilling hour of horror that reimagines this iconic horror in a constantly changing and haunted film set. Unlike any immersive theatre you’ll have seen before.
